i’m personally skeptical just because a statistic like duration of an assault has not traditionally been collected by the DOJ or RAINN. I wonder if this was maybe from a social media graphic that lacks validity/credibility. Considering I had my life shattered in like 3 minutes I could only imagine what an encounter that long would do to a person.

You have to consider for statistics like this they can really only factor in rapes that ended in conviction, and those are most likely to be more violent and drawn out
