If I didn’t like a guy I would not ask if he likes me cuz I just wouldn’t want to open up that conversation, I’d only ask if I liked him too

I don't think there's a general answer. If you've sort of acted like you like her, she might be asking to find out for sure. If you haven't acted like that at all, maybe she's asking because she likes you. Needs more info to make a judgment
