As someone who literally went through this a year ago I told him and it was too late (he ended up not having a crush on the person I thought he did AT ALL, and by the time I got the nerve to tell him how I felt he already was about to date a completely different person) long story short you never truly know and now I regret not saying something sooner. Take the risk if it's worth it to you and if you don't want to have regrets. YOLO worst thatll happen is he doesn't like you and then yk for sure

I just sent him a message confessing how I feel. I’m really nervous because I just know he’s so invested in this other girl, but maybe I beat her to the punch? I hope he’ll actually give me a chance

Thank you! It was hard lol. I don’t regret it, but he did tell me he was talking to someone else. He was really nice about it though, said he appreciated my honesty and courage to reach out. Told me he thought I was doing a great job in the musical we’re in, and promised to not be awkward with me. We had a little conversation and are going to be friends. He said I seem like an amazing person and we’re supposed to hang out when we get back to college. Not the outcome I wanted, but not a bad one.
