I’ve looked into it and would love you but it actually seems so hard unless you can get a job lined up and not many places would be willing to hire a foreigner that’s not even there and doesn’t come with experience in the field that makes taking an American worth it

If I didn't have to go alone id go

I’m Canadian so if anyone wants tips or wants to move to Ottawa lol hop on. I also work in immigration too lmao

Anonymous23w

Anonymous23w
I’m trying to but I haven’t even started my job here yet soo my best bet is probably waiting and looking into transferring to an international office

Yes but unfortunately I don’t have moving abroad money. My work is just significantly more valued in Europe and the EU has higher environmental standards for my supplies, it’d be a dream to leave this place.

France sucks in its own ways, but still

Anonymous#123w
Also it doesn’t have to be France I could do Ireland or Switzerland or Belgium or something. Maybe UK but I’d kinda want that EU citizenship eventually

Anonymous#223w
And you can’t just move to a country bc you want to, you need a work or marriage or visa of some reasoning
8
Anonymous#223w
I have a friend who did it, and also technically have experience as I’ve been interning in my field the entire time while I’ve been in school. Not saying it would be easy, but I’m in a solid place
1
Anonymous#223w
Yeah I would be seeking a work visa
1
Anonymous#223w
I’m aiming to work in biological research, whether academia or tech or industry, which is actively recruiting a lot of Americans at the moment compared to other fields
4
Anonymous23w
My first choice would still be France, just giving options where I could still speak the language
6
Anonymous23w
But tbh didn’t know Ireland was so expensive

Anonymous#823w

I been to Norway before it’s absolutely fucking stunning but I find the locals don’t love foreigners
2
Anonymous#823w
That’s true but I was an exchange student in high school there so I feel like I know what I’m getting myself into. They are becoming better about the foreigners thing too
2
Anonymous#1123w
Honestly it was never that bad I could just tell they didn’t want me around. I went 2 years ago btw.
2
Anonymous#1323w
