That’s good. I don’t expect to be complimented anyway, so I don’t rlly care personally 🤷‍♂️. I just wouldn‘t compliment women just to compliment them bc I don‘t feel like it‘s smthg that‘s needed. Women know they‘re hot.

I don’t think anyone needs to be complimented but the way you put this is what doesn’t sit right. If you aren’t the kind of person to give compliments that’s fine but youre making it seem like women are snobby and attention seeking and like them solely for their egos

Look maybe I’m just used to complimenting my friends and being complimented by them but it’s not like I’m getting called hot or anything it’s like when my friends say I like your sweater or that thing I made looks cute. They are very different things than what you seem to think. Saying something nice about someone is not a bad thing. Also its fairly normalized in woman & non-men spaces to compliment people and be complimented and very few people in those spaces are snobby because of compliments

OP was talking abt calling girls pretty. I have no problem w/ complimenting gurls outfits or work, or rlly anything that they can control & isn‘t bc of luck.

I get that I feel like pretty can not just be about looks but about style or an outfit, I definitely get not going out of your way to call someone pretty on looks alone. The only person I do that to is my girlfriend which is very different.

Yeah. I just wouldnt straight up say a girl is pretty as a compliment. I would reserve that for someone I wanna date
