Because they don’t care. They will strip down their services to the bare minimum we will tolerate and still continue to buy from them. I’ve stopped buying from amazon entirely

I only bought from them because I had no other choice but to. I got ahold of them finally. But my order was never delivered, it’s been two weeks. And they had me send a picture of my house to verify it’s the correct address, then had to do it again because they needed to see everything. Then they said it would take 24 hours. Then they said they didn’t receive the second photo. Had to do it again, and then online it said 6 hours. Called and they said it takes two days to get a response

And it’s largely Amazon’s fault we have so few other options because they undercut so many brick and mortar stores. Only to raise their prices once they had a monopoly
