i don’t know why everyone’s pressuring u to not let her get acrylics this one time for her bday. getting acrylics over and over damages ur nails sure, but ONE time to make ur daughter happy is not the end of the world and idk why these ppl are being insufferable abt it as if it’s gonna kill her. you do what you think u want to do for ur child, i got acrylics the first time at 12 and i legit loved them and nothing bad happened 😭 idk y these ppl think something crazy will happen from 1 time

Just buy her some press ons. Better for her nails (she’s only 12). And she can pop them right off after her birthday is over. They have cute ones on TikTok shop

It’s the thing is she goes so much stuff and she’s always in the bottle all the I’ve forgotten to pop off and I would rather spend the money to get her something good that’s gonna last a few weeks and get a $19 set that’s gonna last a week or two and then fly off

I’m letting her have them. I’m not gonna spend $19 on something that it’s gonna come off in a week. she’s turning 13.

She’s a little young for acrylics she has time to wait until she’s older. And $19 is better than $150 set

Rather spend $150 on something that’s gonna last at least a month then $19 and that’s gonna last a week

Well it doesn’t last a week if done right. She’s too young. She doesn’t need it that long after her bday

Well, I’m OK. You don’t have to be. She’s had nails before she’s fine. She’s not a baby. If you don’t want any kids you don’t want your daughter to have but I’m fine with it

Uh I’m fine with having my own children. But I’m gonna let me kid be a kid. And not complain about press on nails. Something kids should have that are good on their nail health at a young age. We gave you examples and you still complained. If she’s had them done before why are you asking us. Just go to the normal nail tech

You’re acting like forcing her to get nails she wants them for them and I have money and it’s not like it’s an every day thing I get it for special occasions are not. I’m fine with it. She is a kid that’s why I don’t wanna press because she does so much and she is still a kid it’s not like she’s getting a nails no don’t you’re gonna be short. I just want them to lie us because she does like.

Duh if she’s a kid acrylics are not practical. Press ons are cheap and reliable. Even adults still wear them. You can find cute ones that look like acrylics on TikTok shop that last a good while. But if you don’t wanna listen to us why ask? Just go to the nail tech you normally go to? I don’t see the issue in recommending press on nails though. But if you have a lady go to her?

Persons are not liable for if you don’t have an extra way to get a nail taken in my area that I’m doing on the site that she wants then don’t call me the first the first reply that I explained why person are not reliable for her because she does a lot of stufflike gymnastics stuff with her having short nails, but reliable and I’d rather spend more money on at least a month then something is gonna get off in two weeks

I mean speaking as a person who wears press ons pretty much constantly, you can get perfectly good ones of under $10 and I’ve experienced little to no quality improvement with the $15-$20 ones. They just charge for a brand name. Plus she’s a kid and her nail bed is still developing, acrylics are gonna fuck her nails up long term.

Don’t get me wrong I like croissants, but I want a birthday nails to last a little longer with a week. It doesn’t even have to be acrylics. I just need something that’s gonna last long goes all my croissants because she does gymnastics and stuff and she likes to try a lot and short nails are fine for gymnastics and stuff, but press always break off when she does gymnastics.

But yeah if she’s doing gymnastics anything other than polish is a safety hazard lowkey. If she’s doing weekly practice and you got her the sticker ones instead of glue, which could come off in about a week, that may be a benefit

She can have nails and like good nails, but I just have to be up pretty short she has polish on all the time and it’s her birthday and she wants something special than a polish or push. It’s more experience in the actual nails.

In that case get her a mani with a massage, sans acrylics or polish, and then some press ons. She can get the experience and protect her hands

While acrylics are damaging to nail health, I don’t think you letting her get them one time is THAT bad. I would suggest gel nails. They’re better for ur nail health and last just as long as acrylics.
