getting and iud was the greatest decision ever it helped my period pain so much and with the added bonus of not getting pregnant i will ALWAYS advocate for birth control best thing ever

i’d rather gain weight and be slightly less interested in sex than be pregnant, so i completely think the pros outweigh the cons. it’s also trial and error so if your side effects are crazy you can always get on a different method to see if it works better

It only had good effects for me my acne reduced a lot and my periods became regulated so I definitely think it’s worth it

The negative side effect is the fact that i’m paying to not get pregnant when I barely have sex.

Personally I didn’t have a single positive or negative side effect. Like literally no difference. Except that when i fucked up my schedule I practically went insane

Been on the pill for a month but havent had any "big" differences. I feel more emotionally stable around my period and even if you do gain weight, its NORMALLY around only a pound

As someone who has been on it for over 4 years, I’m fine. I think I definitely have weight I wouldn’t have if I wasn’t on it but nothing I can’t handle. I think if you wanna be safe go for it but also talk to a doctor abt pros and cons
