Ginormous red flag. Real friends won’t ask for money. Learn that now or be a sucker for life. I myself would trim the fat and not hang with them anymore. They’ve already shown what they are - and what they aren’t.

Probably because you have money and they want it. Simple as that. When my used to be friends (guys and girls) found out that I made more money than them suddenly I was expected to pay for more. It was a weird experience and made me realize that they had started not caring about me but about my money. Now I have friends that don’t expect that from me and it’s much better. People are so greedy sometimes that they ruin friendships
