Honestly I would break it off, long distance is obtainable when there's a cut off to it. But when you are moving back home and don't really have a plan it's just going to put a strain on your life to try and figure both things out. I would suggest staying single for awhile and focus on what you want to do in your life before committing to a relationship
For me, the main cause of missed assignments and damage to my GPA (which was still good enough for my career plans) happened to be things related to my boyfriend. Breaking up made it easier to plan my own sleep schedule and do all the basic things I needed to do every day. Idk what your boyfriend is like, but sometimes being single really does solve a lot of problems.
I’ve been thinking about it very heavily too honestly because not only is it such a long trip (which, honestly I wouldn’t mind making the trip myself, but he refuses to let me stay with him and his family and I can’t afford a hotel room every time I want to see him which was what we resorted to every time I went to see him) he knowingly took up a job position that’d make it significantly harder for us to see each other
I’ll keep a long story short So in my college (I don’t know what it’s like at other places, so I may be preaching to the choir), you have to maintain a 2.0 GPA institutionally every academic year, and if you don’t, you either have to get put on academic probation or get your scholarship taken away (for the first offense of this, like mine would be) They ended up skipping both of those things and just straight up kicked me out, I’m trying to appeal it because of them skipping the “strikes”
It’s not that it’s further away, it’s at the same building, but it’s at later hours (so we can’t really call anymore) and he no longer has weekends off (when one of us would normally have to go up to see the other, so we’d both have to put in comp time ahead of time for us to see each other since I only have weekends off)
1. Three of my classes weren’t for my major but for core credits, two of them were math classes (which I used to excel in) and one was a chem & bio class (and I honestly sucked at both, but I had many friends who were majoring within those subjects in some way, so I figured I could get help from them) 2. I went to every tutor I could, went to one on one sessions with professors, and even asked many friends for help (especially in my stats class), but none of it helped and I still couldn’t get it
