Sorry this is kinda unrelated but do you have any advice on sending a follow up email after an interview?? It’s almost been 2 weeks and they said they’re going to interview other candidates…is 2 weeks too late to email just asking for a follow up??

Nah it’s not too late, what do you have to lose? It won’t change the outcome but at least you’ll know instead of being stuck in limbo. And maybe they haven’t actually decided, things happen like scheduling mishaps or unexpected time off

I wouldn’t give up just yet. As someone who has had to do the hiring before, sometimes other tasks just get in the way and make the process longer. I recommend calling instead of emailing. Emails can get caught up in spam or lost in inboxes. Calls get directly to who you want and you get an immediate answer. Just politely say that you interviewed and were wondering if there are any updates or hiring decisions. You can also ask is there are any further questions or materials they need.

They’re probably not interested if it’s been radio silence for two weeks. Doesn’t hurt to send a quick email but don’t get your hopes up
