It’s funny because most of them don’t actually know the full scope of autism and just how disabling it can be. Most don’t even know it can affect you physically

yes like every autistic person must be like young sheldon and if they aren’t then you must be lying 😭 like that’s not an inherently nonsensical belief and probably part of the reason why some people believe autism just “popped up more” instead of how diagnoses increased truly in response to widening the definition to be more inclusive to reflect the spectrum
