if someone corrects me again and says taking iron every other day is better even after i explained how it can be taken everyday im going to explode. yes i know what hepcidin is!!! if you follow the advice the people “correcting” me are giving you will literally never solve iron deficiency!!!! i went from ferritin of 11 to 109 (so far) and people act like i have no clue what i’m talking about.

sorry y’all i just needed to rant bc i’m sick of people getting in the way of me solving problems that greatly decrease women’s quality of life and long term health. it seems like people listen to anyone but me, someone who has lived and breathed it and had to solve it on my own and only was able to do it because other women helped me and gave me my life back.

the people that say take it every other day still probably have a ferritin under 30 and act like iron deficiency is a fact of life that can’t be solved. nope there have been women that have figured out how to reach optimal levels and all you have to do is listen to them bc they’ve fucking lived it!!!! they were miserable for years and had enough!!! how are you going to tell me idk about iron deficiency when i’m at optimal levels and got here by doing what i’m advising???

i know how fucking debilitating anemia and iron deficiency are so please just let me help people and don’t correct me with information that isn’t even relevant to what i’m saying bc i already addressed how to prevent hepcidin expression. it’s like people are allergic to new information and doing what actually works. i followed my drs advice and it literally did nothing because they don’t gaf about women or iron deficiency.

i solved by iron deficiency with anemia by joining the iron protocol facebook group! the group has guides that contain the protocol and it tells you all about how to dose your iron so you’re taking enough, but how to do it safely so you don’t create iron overload. i would just tell you but it’s too much info and it’s all important for your safety! but it’s seriously life changing. if you don’t use facebook i can send you a pdf of the guides.

the guides were written by the group expert which is a woman who solved her own iron deficiency. all of the guides are based on current recommendations from the american society of hematology, current research, and over 11,000 hours of compiling anecdotal and empirical data. the thing about hepcidin i was ranting about specifically is that you can take 1000mg of vitamin c with each iron dose which allows you to take iron multiple times a day w/o increasing hepcidin bc vitamin c inhibits hepcidin
