i don’t even speak for groups that i was diagnosed in. like adhd. i’d never speak for anyone else. my psychologist told me i have autism (but didn’t diagnose yet bc of politics) and even after i get officially diagnosed i still won’t speak for autistic ppl

If your psychologist said you have it then you’re diagnosed. It’s not like it goes in your universal file or smth, that doesn’t even exist due to HIPAA… if you’re in the US there’s no reason to not get diagnosed due to politics, it’s federally protected information

i was getting evaluated for adhd. back in may she told me she heavily suggests i get evaluated for autism, but bc of rfk, it’d be kind of smart to hold out on it. but she kept on saying over and over how id “fit right in” in certain autism groups (like this one, for instance) and kept winking, which is why im thinking she told me im autistic without diagnosing if that makes sense?

the federal government isn’t really the most trustworthy or law abiding group rn, so there is some reason to not get diagnosed due to politics
