Does anyone unless struggle w alcohol in the way that it’s the onllyy thing that helps you feel happy/social? Im sober now but looking back on why I drank its basically bc it felt like the thing that helped me unmask/“be happy” (being tipsy/drunk)

yep the first time i got drunk was the first time i was ever able to walk up to someone and start a conversation. that had always been something i wanted to be able to do. i’m 3 years sober now
