I dislike summer, but often really only if it gets over 90 BC the bugs and the sweat are a nightmare sensory experience for me. Plus, I personally like wearing lots of comfy clothes, and the problem is Theres only so many clothes you can take off before you get arrested for public nudity
I dislike the summer because I have temperature regulation issues where I cannot tolerate warm weather at all, it’s absolutely a miserable time for me. My migraines also come back very intensely in the summer. Summer is one of the worst seasons of the year where my sensory issues are the very worst
See i love the aesthetic of summer. Love the sun the nature the nice weather. But extreme heat makes me incredibly exhausted which then makes me depressed bc everyone has energy to be outside and have fun and i can barely move bc im sweating and its so overstimulating. I actually get more depressed in summer than winter
Nah I agree wholeheartedly especially with 3 because the amount of layering I have to do is soooo overstimulating to me😭😭I used to have full actual meltdowns when I knew I had to go outside when I first moved to the Midwest (from tx). Our winters growing up were like 30-40’s, I moved here and there was immediately a polar vortex and it was -33° outside. That winter was a shit show for me
I have gotten used to it (plus global warming means our winters have been much less severe the past 2-ish years especially) but I still hate all the layers. I love that in the summer I can sit on my porch alllllll day and it’s so warm and sunny and the birds and bugs are so alive and it just makes me feel like the earth might be okay
