I experience limerence, which is a kind of person obsession that tends to be related to a desire for love, but I experience that for specific people as opposed to a general obsession/desire with finding love.

Yes! If you can find the right person who becomes just a obsessed with you as you are with them, and you guys commit to loving each other forever and you’re actually both well adjusted people, it’s the best feeling in the world. I’m marrying my person and I’m hishyper fixation just like he’s mine.

It may or may not be. … i would say the Venn diagrams of that comment/description and limerence can overlap, even though they aren’t necessarily the same.

I think the common thread between those is a tendency to feel unsure that you’re worthy of love, or unsure that it will come in its own time. It’s hard to explain, but that’s how I experienced it for a while.
