Yea like “Awe thank you for the gift today it meant a lot that you remembered and thought about me. I do have to ask though, there was a receipt for a gift card but there wasn’t any in the card I was just wondering if there was or if there was just one left over in it

Definitely ask. Could be an online giftcard that was sent, she forgot to put it in the card or someone took it before you got there.
