I’ve dealt with stuff like this my whole life but having it be a regular thing at work was the final nail in the coffin for me. I’ve been an RN for the last 2 months and of course I’m the new person on my unit. Despite me being proficient in skills and carrying out tasks, the female staff DO NOT like me at all…..I can sniff it out through all the nice nastiness if they’re not being overtly mean…

I’ve done everything that people tell me to. Talk more, make conversation, all the other bs. Guess what? That does absolutely nothing when people have decided they already hate you

People are uncomfortable around things that are different than what they know. I'm sure they don't hate you, especially if you haven't given them any reason as you say. Be sweet and kind until they have no excuse not to like you, I promise it works.
