Hi friend! I don’t know how close you live to one, but I would advise you to explore FQHCs. They are federally funded based on the fact that they are not legally allowed to deny people based on insurance or ability to pay. I’ve had great experience with mine. I felt more comfortable with a provider who had been licensed for many years. If there is expensive, work to be done, sometimes they will also suggest finding a dental school so it can reduce costs.

I am in almost this exact situation Better to do it now than later bc it’ll only cost more However personally I’m pulling that sucker out (do not do this)
