That’s illegal for them to do. I know it’s hard but in a situation like that you have to push back and go higher up the chain of command. They could’ve gotten in serious trouble for saying that to you; it is quite literally discrimination (not all disabilities are visible).

Get a lawyer. That’s what my sister had to do.

If they give you a hard time tell your academic advisor. They will likely help you escalate the situation (and will be pissed that you were treated that way)
