you just need some kind of electrolyte water solution and 2 electrodes resting in it (but not touching)! running a current across the electrodes will strip the water apart into hydrogen and oxygen! here was my basic setup iirc: - old ext. cable + wall outlet (please use a battery don’t be dumb like me or you’ll die) - 2 nails for electrodes - salt water - some kind of container for everything this’ll just generate hydrogen and oxygen but not contain it. useless but cool!

cause if you’re not insulated from everything or accidentally touch the wrong thing even for a second, you’ll have the power of your house running through your body and trip a breaker, die, or both! so yeah PLEASE don’t do anything like this with an outlet. just get a small battery or something instead:)
