It seems to be just so ingrained in life that I can’t bring it up without people acting like I’ve grown a second head. My parents care so much about “productivity” even at home and idk it just feels wrong? What about just existing? What about art and family and rest?

Obviously in capitalism we need money to participate in the economy to survive, but it seems a little excessive how much it takes over I guess

capitalism is a terrible economic system!! it doesn’t value anything except the money your labor can provide for someone else and it fucking sucks for anyone who isn’t able bodied or neurotypical, but also for them!! they’re just more able to tolerate it so they don’t realize how much it sucks
