#1 popped off. Here’s my take or what I tell myself. Body, brain, stomach. Body- Wash yourself, do the basics. Your body is important more is nice but the bare minimum is ok. Brain- find something that makes you feel refreshed, not sleeping or watching tv. Needs to be some sort of action. Reading, walking, dancing in your room etc. Stomach- you need food, your body needs food. Find the simplest way to get all the nutrients you need with little effort.
First off, know that everything is going to be okay. #1 top priority: HYGIENE. It fucking sucks and it’s sometimes really hard to keep up with, but even doing one thing like showering or brushing your teeth will make you feel SO much better. Treat it like a game or something where you must complete the task before you can leave the area. Just do 1 thing and see if you feel like you can do another (“I’m in the bathroom now so I might as well do this too”)
once that’s deal with, #2: environment. It is nearly impossible to focus in a dirty space. It’s also really overwhelming to clean said space, so pick 1 category of items and go around and only pick up things from that category (shoes/trash/shirts/etc) usually it helps the space look at least marginally better, then see if you can do more categories til the space is functional. #3: are there any super important things you’ve been putting off? I’m talking REALLY important. Do them
those are the top 3 things you need to ensure you’re keeping up with to keep your head above water. When these things fall behind, everything else follows suit because these are the top 3 things that affect your mind every single day. If you can do more than that, great! If you can’t keep up with these, be kind to yourself and take things one step at a time. Breaking large tasks down into little steps helps a LOT (has to do with dopamine and stuff just trust me)
