My bf is Japanese and was two years ago when we were freshman complained about the visa process and how he’d wanna move to the states and get a green card. He joked about wishing there were American mail order brides and I blurted out, I’d marry him so it’s more express delivery. He thought it was really funny and a few days later asked me if I was actually interested in him and we went on our first date. Funnily enough we’re planning to move to Japan after graduation so worked in reverse 🤣
