that’s why i hated dorms tbh, i couldn’t be myself when she was around and i really struggled with not having my own space. ik you’re probably not in a situation to get an apartment, but even if you have a car, have some space that is yours and yours alone. maybe even looking for a study room on campus or taking your time in the shower

Definitely take your own time in bathroom or shower. Absolutely rent a study room for a couple hours or even travel to a cafe where you can be alone
