yeah, i grew up in ct and had to train an employee who couldn’t count change in my first job. there is a huge wealth gap problem; the kids whose parents can afford it and can get in go to private schools, and the majority of the public school population in the state is low-income or special needs kids with limited infrastructure to support them when things are funded per capita.

Counting change has nothing to do with nice schools. That’s basic stuff you’d learn even at a public school.

did you even read the whole comment? i said the public schools don’t have the funding to help special needs people who still need help with things like that by high school.

She’s not special needs. She just didn’t notice she was the only one who didn’t need speech to text apps for school.
