Hey guys, having issues with my makeup base lately. I have decently dry skin by get oily around my nose throughout the day. For foundation I've been using a combo of elf halo glow and hourglass. I notice creases specifically in my smile lines!!

what i do is put on my concealer and foundation whatever and then spray it with got2b hair spray as a setting spray, then lightly tap that to blend the crease lines and immediately put a poreless/matt powder on and then once i swipe that off i put the hair spray again. it seems to work to keep less smile lines thru the day

Something I do is use eyeshadow primer where my makeup tends to crease the most. It doesn’t stop it completely but it definitely helps, if you notice creasing throughout the day gently brush it away with a triangle sponge

also makeup is going to crease in fine lines regardless, but there are ways to minimize it and touch it up throughout the day. i have the same skin type

I use the Too Faced Hangover primer, One Size setting powder, and Morphe setting spray.

I know I know, I've just noticed it happening quicker lately if that makes sense! It feels like there's something I could do better in the beginning😔

lol all good! I use curology to wash, the ordinary toner, a byoma phytomucin serum, salicylic acid serum, vitamin c serum, then la Roche posay moisturizer

hmm ok so here are some things i do that helped a ton: making sure i prep my skin 30 minutes before makeup, to allow the products to absorb but leave my face fresh enough for application. using eye cream. this makes a huge difference in under eye creasing. concentrating a mattifying primer around the nose area, and pressing the primer into the skin. build up product gradually into layers onto the face. keeping tissues/blotting paper in my bag and a pressed powder for the purpose of retouching.

personal changes i did that i wouldn't call advice but wanted to add: getting on estrogen birth control and staying better hydrated helped my oil production a lot
