Beauty advice on Yik Yak | I’ve always had acne, since like age 6. My face gets red in public and it’s always heavily oily, like almost soaking the paper towel. My dermatologist has given me all she can, nothing is working. Anyone have suggestions?

it’s the brand name but it’s called isotretinoin, kind of like an oral version of tretinoin! it’s known as like one of the only “cures” to acne because it works by reducing your oil gland size i think. there are some side effects that scare some people but I’ve seen a lot of people have successful treatments with the right doctors!

lol all good! I’ve tried accutane, tretinoin, minocycline, doxycycline, spironolactone, birth control. I’m probably missing one!
