mine wasn’t even super obviously hormonal (more on my forehead instead of the classic cheeks and chin and I didn’t notice it change with my cycle)

but spironolactone was a game changer! my skin is 100 percent clear now no joke I never break out and used to all the time

I had the clearest skin as a kid and once I became an adult my skin became my biggest enemy.
