I feel like my hair has been thinning out more than usual (PCOS 🥲). I’m currently on a hair, skin, and nails multivitamin, but what else can I do to keep my hair on my head? For context, I have 2a-3c hair and am fairly low maintenance.

really important to stimulate blood flow to your scalp! will help with keeping everything up their active for growth, that’s why a lot of people recommend scalp massagers and the little dermarollers. i’d also recommend into looking into oils/serums that are suitable for your hair type. (is important to keep in mind oils that work for other people can be damaging to your hair depending on its porosity etc.)

multivitamins don’t do much. minoxidil is your best bet

I love using rice water it has acids, proteins and vitamins that stimulate hair growth and help strengthen and reduce hair loss

is your diet and stress levels okay? if you’re experiencing stress and/or if you’re dieting and not getting enough nutrients then that can happen.

a scalp massager in the shower, or generally massaging your scalp, certain hair oils, and avoiding alc/smoking/heat products can help
