Should I cut my hair into a pixie cut? I’ve always grown my hair out but wanted to try something shorter but I don’t know if I should go through with cutting it and then I might not like short hair

I cut my own hair about that short.(Don’t try it at home lol .) It is so much easier to take care of now. if you don’t like it, you can grow it back out, even though the process might be annoying.

Definitely take it in stages. I would even suggest not cutting it to a Bob yet. Cut it near shoulder length to get use to seeing shorter hair because if you don’t like it you don’t have the weird awkward Bob grown out I’ve experienced before and it won’t take too too long to grow back. But if you like it then go for a Bob, then a long pixie cut, and then whatever desired pixie you want! I hope this helps

Well if you do it’ll take like 5 years to grow to shoulder length so unless you want short hair forever then NO

I had hip length hair and now I have a crew cut lol. I also suggest doing it in stages- bob it first, and then if you want shorter you can go shorter. Personally I love my short hair. It’s pin straight, so when it was long it had no texture and got greasy in half a second, and this is so much better. Think about it this way- you’ll always be curious what having short hair would be like, right? Might as well find out, and if you hate it you can start regrowing now

I’m not the one who down voted you, but there are already soooo many photos and articles about hairstyles of all kinds. If you asked AI to generate a hairstyle photo, it would actually be slightly worse than a real reference photo for a stylist.

💕 i agree people should definitely use an actual reference photo for a stylist but the reference photos aren’t going to show how that hairstyle would look on your specific face i think pixie cuts look so cute on some people and badass on others but would not suit my face at all it’s just a way to get an idea on whether or not they’d like it before chopping it all especially bc going from long hair to that is such a big change

That’s on average, everyone’s hair growth is a little bit different. Some peoples hair grows faster and some grow slower. Not like they control it just how their hair growth cycle is. I got my hair cut to my ear back in December, by March it was already touching my collarbone.
