People with patchwork sleeves , what was your process of starting it and how did you get it to a place of your satisfaction?

Im pretty much patchwork all over me atp, i started with some pieces i really wanted (ill share a pic of my arms or legs stuff at the end) and then i went to a bunch of holiday flash sales and looked at what they were offering (they had a book for these sales) and what i liked out of them. Then just told my artist to “slap em on there” 😂💀

I never really had a plan or thought process when I started my tattoo journey other than the fact I wanted patchwork (except for my back which is just one big piece) and that I wanted my tattoo style to be American Traditional (which I know is considered basic by lots of people) and I knew I was going for like a “biker cowboy southern country wild west” type vibe.

I still have space for some tats, so i wouldnt say im at my satisfaction yet but if i just happened to never be able to get another one ever again, i think im still hot as fuck with what i got🤷🏼‍♂️😂 (Also the pic im adding is of my legs rn)

I came back to say alot of these tats themselves are also unfinished. Like the two on my knees, the clown, the one on my left thigh. So i would in theory like to finish them before i get anything new. But i dont even know when i can do that so we’ll see i guess😂

I am covered in tattoos, from my neck down to my ankles and then I have some on my skull and hairline and jawline

Did you have a certain theme planned? I see a lot of people go for american traditional to keep a uniform look. I don’t really want that style but idk how to get a uniform look with just random tattoos.

Sorry just seeing this, but no i didnt really have a plan. I had certain pieces that i wanted in a certain space like the ghost on my bottom right leg or the bat on my left shin. The stuff on my knees amd above were planned too. But other than that i went to flash sales, they had books with certain art they were doing for the sale. I would look through pick 3 out and fr tell my artist to slap them on there😂 and she did

The only reason they all look similar is because its all friday the 13th flash sale stuff. So it was usually spooky stuff, which i love anyway
