Body Art on Yik Yak | need help: i (22f) want a sternum piece. i only have 2 tattoos: ankle and wrist (both small). i feel like they both hurt so bad. do u think i will be able to will myself to sit through the piece i want or should i wait until i’m more experienced w/ pain?

Honestly nothing can prepare you for a sternum piece. It’s up to you yk? If you have an iron will and can make yourself do it I say go for it. Mine is one of my favorite pieces

My sternum was my first tattoo. It hurts but it isn’t too bad, you just gotta thug it out.

i used numbing cream for my rib/stomach piece. no shame in using it and it helped SO much
