Can a piercer re-pierce existing piercings that keep partially closing up? (I got both ear piercings at Claire’s (I know) when I was little and the ones I’ve had the longest have been closing up after like two days… which does not feel normal)

That’s definitely not normal. Are they still open wounds?

I don’t think so, but maybe. They used to “ooze” a lot and I asked a piercer about it once and they said that was normal. I got the firsts when I was 12 and the seconds when I turned 18, and I’m 21 now. They should definitely be healed… and they were (like no issues), so not sure what changed

Oozing a lot after the normal healing time could mean allergy or infection. Is it possible you are allergic to the metal?

That’s what I’ve read, but I typically only wear sterling silver & stainless steel (like piercers sell). occasionally nickel-free whatever—maybe those are the issue

You could be allergic to copper but nickel can be in both sterling silver and stainless steel. You could get a metal allergies test to help figure out what’s irritating your ears

^ it could also be this. My body is SUPERR sensitive and would reject like 98% of Claire’s stuff I can only do 24k gold from there
