
because it’s right on the bone lol. there’s basically no muscle tissue there so the needle just hits the bone over and over. you can get some numbing cream but talk to your artist first about it and make sure the main numbing ingredient isn’t more than 4-5%. some artists don’t like if you put that stuff on and don’t say anything
well the shop i went to save it the active ingredient was above 5% it can have side effects and he told me a story of a guy who used one with more than 4-5% and it caused permanent numbness. i would google whatever one you have but the one they had at their shop by a brand called mad rabbit was in the safe range
