I also really want to, but I’m unsure if top surgery is in my future or not and I’d REALLY rather not waste the time and money to get and heal a piercing only to intentionally do something that would probably cause me to lose it 😭

it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. initial piercing was 3/10 and healing is a breeze

Nipple piercing are the piercings that never heal. They say 6 months but that’s when your pain usually subsides or they just stop hurting as bad

I want to do it but I have big boobs so flat nipples and I’m so afraid their gonna be crooked. Also how will I ever heal them if I can’t wear a bra for 6+ months.

OH, also some advice I’ve heard: if you want to get both pierced, schedule it so you get both done during the same appointment rather than getting one done now and the other later. The pain can be minimal like 2 said, but it can also be one of the most painful piercings you ever get. It’s more common that it hurts more in men than in women, but aside from that there’s not really anything you can do to predict how it’ll be for you. Also, once it’s healed, nipple piercings are known to close-

-VERY quickly, so be careful any time you have to take the jewelry out. I heard from one person that they took the jewelry out for a few moments and when they tried to put it back in, it was closed

Oh also I forgot to explain why you should schedule to get both done during the same appointment. If the pain ends up being really bad, you’re much less likely to get that second one pierced if you have to commit to doing it later than if you already committed and paid for it to be done right then and there

See, I’ve heard the pain wasn’t so bad, but that the healing process was tricky. Like for some people if just first heal right or something

I get like a pinch whenever I take them out. Just make sure as you pull one out, the one your putting in is lined up with it.

No, meaning you’ll always have some form of discharge. It doesn’t heal like a belly button or nose ring
