I got a tattoo right below my ankle about 3.5 weeks ago. I did everything they told me to for aftercare (wash 2 times a day and moisturize and no soaking till 2 weeks) but my tattoo looks faded and a little patchy. Is this a normal part of the process?

No. It’ll never look as bright and bold as the day it’s first done but it definitely shouldn’t be patchy

lowkey it looks like your artist might’ve gone too deep and blown out some of the thicker lines? i could be wrong though

Oh I think that looks great! The line work isn’t perfect but a lot of places will let you get a touch up for free

I would recommend going back to the artist and showing them your concerns! They should fix it for you - unless they’re a prick, then find a new artist and get it touched up. But it is very cute!
