Getting an ankle tat tomorrow and my fyp decided to show me that it’s one of the most painful spots 😀. Any tips for the pain once numbing cream wears off are appreciated cause I’m doing 1 session

idk if i’m too late but I got one on sunday, it wasn’t that bad, the back outside part hurt during shading but i took nothing for the pain just squeezing my friends hand. certain parts were more tender but overall 5/10. walking afterwards was weird and kind of painful, i took ibuprofen every so often and it’s day 4 now slight sting but nothing more

She knows. She actually recommended it. It’s not my first and won’t be my largest but all my tattoos are on fatty parts of my body and my ankle is the skinniest part on me 💀😭😭
