I got tatted yesterday didn’t wet it and when I showered today I used antibacterial soap and cleaned it. Was that bad,,??? Should I cover it with tegaderm and leave it alone for the next few days

Nah you’re gucci See im kinda crazy, ill go home after the session. Take the plastic off, wash my body and the tattoo with whatever soap i got and then slap some aquaphor on it and call it a day🤷🏼‍♂️

I am honestly covered in tattoos and that’s how I cleaned/healed all of mine

This is my left leg as of rn, i think my tats will be fine😂 please dont listen to everything you hear on the internet, do your own research and know your own skin. Which is why ive been doing the same routine after every tattoo since 19 (im 27 now) cause that’s what works for me. I wash my body when i get home, i actually use neosporin for 2 days then aquaphor for liek 4-5 then lotion for a week and they always look this good
