Question: so A while ago I had an appointment scheduled but couldn't make it, rescheduled a week later. Couldnt go then either (was dealing with a lot). Would the artist be mad if I contact them again? I've gone to her for all of mine

Did you cancel day of? If you cancelled multiple times I hope they got a deposit from you. If not, honestly I’d make you pay upfront

If you’re a regular though - maybe she won’t mind. But I’ve had regulars no show and cancel on me and unfortunately it literally can make or break a payday. It truly sucks bc I know that what I said might sound harsh but some don’t see artists as real people w/bills to pay. Good luck hope everything goes well!!

Yeah it was gonna be 250 and she got 100 deposit, it was an old piece she'd had so she didn't have to draw anything new for me. I've also always tipped a lot before even tho she'd insist it's not necessary or expected. I feel really bad about it tho but I know she had a lot of bookings so I don't think it was too much trouble, next time I'll just offer to pay for the session when i schedule it. Thanks for the advice, and best of luck
