Genuinely as someone who has 15+ piercings i say the more the merrier

i'd say go for it. if you do end up regretting it, they'll just close up on their own eventually, and it's relatively easy to miss. plus with doubles you get more earring options, if you're the kind of guy who likes more decorative jewelry.
