Recommendations for pretty quick but still interesting books to take on vacation? I just devoured This is How You Lose the Time War and want something like it (beautiful writing and easy to get lost in the story, queer, possibly scifi/fantasy bug not req)

The Ministry of time is also beautifully written but is unfortunately not queer. Does have time travel though. Maybe The house on the cerulean sea or light from uncommon stars would fit your needs

Hm for a quick (it’s a novella) interesting queer book with good prose maybe When Among Crows by Veronica Roth? It’s urban fantasy which I’m personally usually on the fence about but I think this book pulls it off very well and builds a compelling world
