I read the first 10 a long time ago and then just recently skipped to the last 9 books (starting with Archmage) in preparation for his new book this year — if you liked the Dark Elf Trilogy, there’s PLENTY more with Menzoberranzan in the third trilogy (Legacy of the Drow) and every book from Archmage onward, it seems. The politics can be daunting sometimes but it does wonderful things for Drizzt’s character development
It’s a LOT and you’ll definitely wanna do your homework before starting since there are a few good starting places. And also don’t be afraid to skip around — every book, and even every trilogy, is very different, but Salvatore is very good at recapping. There are a few essential ones, though. And, in my opinion, you should start with the Dark Elf Trilogy (the first chronological books). They’re simply better written than the Icewind Dale Trilogy (the first ones he wrote)
