I will always prefer reading a physical book over an ebook, BUT! Kindle is perfect for situations like this when you have limited space (and ebooks are also cheaper for the most part). It’s going to be so much easier to move with one device and maybe a few books compared to all your books. Also makes it so much easier to travel

kindle is soo much easier for college. it allows u to read more bc u can bring it more places and read in bed, etc! plus u can download college textbooks to ur kindle and use them in class

Get a kobo instead of a kindle, when you buy your books, they’re your books forever whereas on Kindle, even if you buy your books, you don’t own them. So I’m selling my Kindle soon so I can get a kobo.

I always prefer physical books but I love having my kindle for college. It ends up being super convenient since I don’t have tons of space and I don’t need to worry about going home to switch out books. I pair it with Libby and multiple library cards so I don’t need to spend any money on books. I’ve started to read so much more in my free time at school since I have it

ohhh i see. so on a kobo can you like “lend” it to other kobo owners? i guess im just confused why else it would matter whether u technically own it or not if its just a digital copy

It was some big discourse over it a while back and i was like oh okay that is a bit weird that you would have some restrictions when you purchased it.

I think it was a big deal because you can’t share it or lend it to someone so most likely

They’re yours forever if you download a file from an external source and upload it to the kindle

Now that’s a great idea, uploading an Epub isn’t bad— just have to find them for the books you’re looking for
