Some of my least favorite books of all time. Hated them so much. They felt so homophobic and made me so uncomfortable

The portrayals of queer men as rapists, pedos, and slavers. And the “romantic” relationship being based on one man being the sex slave of another. That’s not romance, that’s rape. It’s just perpetuating the homophobic stereotypes already put onto queer men, and then also calling them romantic
