Do we think SJM had her little moment with ACOTAR AND ACOMAF and that’s it? I feel like she doesn’t know what to do with the characters beyond the current plot point. Do we think she’s gonna turn Rhys evil lol

Tbf he always has been kind of evil. He’s been king for 500 years and he keeps two parts of his kingdom enslaved on purpose.

I think that just adds to my point of her not having an actual plot point and just throws in whatever suits the current scene

Maybe, though we did kind of see in the third and last book that he’s not all sunshine and rainbows. Not defending her writing or anything, but I think she planned on the audience being a bit smarter than they actually were. He really is morally grey, and not actually a great person. People just ignore the slave stuff that gets mentioned multiple times.

Don’t get me wrong I LOVED reading acotar and I’m really excited for the next ones but I think the audience is giving SJM wayyyy to much credit lol
