Anything by Kristina Hannah I love, The Women specifically is one of my all time favorite books, it’s about a nurse in the Vietnam war. Code Girls by Liza Mundy is another favorite, it’s about the woman in WWll who helped multiple branches of the military break codes, they were so good men were losing jobs over them but our government tried to keep them hidden. And lastly, We Used To Live Here by Marcus Kliewer is so good I read it in 2 sessions, it’s more of a thriller type vibe

i’ve been on a standalone binge to try and read new authors: - ANYTHING by ann liang (like seriously i love her) - carrie soto is back by taylor jenkins reid - king sorrow by joe hill (this book is long but so good if you want to read a unique urban fantasy) - monk and robot by becky chambers - strange pictures by uketsu (and everything else he has written)

Rick Riordan is a good author. He makes series about mythology but the dieties were still around. His most popular series is persy Jackson. It is about the Greek gods

if you’re into a bit of an older gothic / mystery novel, Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier is fantastic!!! The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid is a really great book! it’s mystery/romance and it’s so good you’ll probably read it really quickly!

Try an Agatha Christie book her books are older but they’re really good mysteries, I’d recommend and then there were none or the murder of Roger ackroyd
