The battle where literally none of the main characters die and everyone lives happily ever after? “Oh but the thirteen and Gavriel died”. Uhhhh who???

I mean there’s the whole feeling of hopelessness that come with the battle. Deaths don’t always have to be the thing that makes some devastating. Also I really like the thirteen during this reread and then knowing Manon essentially lost her whole family is also heartbreaking
