
I haven’t read anything in this series, but that seems so wrong to me to just return a book you have bought. Don’t mind so much about places like Barnes and noble but smaller local bookstores seem like they’d get hurt by this. And who knows how many people didn’t actually hate it and just said that after reading it to get their money back and skip the library hold line. You’d think places would have rules about it, maybe they do now 😅
Oh me neither, and it definitely wasn’t a dig at you or anything like that, just an observation. People can just be a little entitled sometimes, like yeah I’m sorry that they didn’t like it, but they still bought it knowing that was a possibility. People still pay for half-eaten food at a restaurant, I just don’t see how/why books are different, especially when there is literally a way to get them for free through the library
